ABA Community Service Award

The application process for the annual ABA Community Service Award is now open. In recognition of the 125th Anniversary of the Buddhist Church of Sacramento, this year’s award is $1,250.00.

Graduating high school students and students attending an accredited college, university, vocational or technical school in 2023-2024 may apply for the Community Service Award.  The student must be a family member of the Buddhist Church of Sacramento, ABA, Affiliated or Sponsored Organization of the Church.   

The Scholarship Award is based on a competitive process that includes an application, essay, letters of Recommendation, and interview.  The Awards are intended to recognize in addition to academic achievement, Community Service to others.
