Rev. Yuki is thrilled that Ichiro Suzuki has been inducted into the 2025 National Baseball Hall of Fame and wants to commemorate this achievement by sharing one of his favorite Kevin Costner films with our community: Field of Dreams.

Rev. Yuki connects the film to Buddhist teachings, reflecting:
“As we live in the wish and ‘dream’ of Amida Buddha, this movie reminds us that we exist within the dreams and hopes of others and highlights the importance of those who support our lives.”

Join us at the Buddhist Church of Sacramento Kaikan to celebrate the start of the Major League Baseball season with this special free screening!
