Tanoshimi Kai: Senior Luncheon (Ages 60+)

The Riverside Tanoshimi Kai (RTK) is back weekly every Friday at the Buddhist Church of Sacramento.

RTK, in conjunction with the Asian Community Center (ACC) Meals on Wheels program, is excited to offer our Buddhist seniors and friends an opportunity for fellowship, to socialize, and foster friendship over lunch and fun activities.

Check-in time starts at 10 a.m. Lunch is served at 11:00, followed by Bingo and/or entertainment.

A donation of $6 is requested–but not required–to help defray costs for the Meals on Wheels government-subsidized program. Guests of Tanoshimi-Kai members can enjoy lunch for a fee of $10.

If you need a ride, please contact ACC Rides. If you need a ride from Maple Tree or Greenhaven Terrace, please make arrangements with ACC Rides at (916) 393-9026 ext. 333, or at rides@accsv.org. Tanoshimi Kai is happy to pay for your round-trip fare.

This is a great opportunity for Sanseis to enjoy lunch with their parents on a regular basis without the hassle of making reservations at a restaurant, and at the same time, enjoy the company of their acquaintances and make new friends.

Hope to see you at Riverside Tanoshimi Kai on Fridays! For more information, contact the Riverside Tanoshimi Kai Board President Brian Hatano at brianhatano58@gmail.com.
