About Us
Mission & History
Established in 1992, the 569 Girl Scout Troop is among the largest and most active in the Sacramento area with over 200 girls, 20+ individual troops and 50+ leaders. We provide a place for troops to meet and work together. Many of the activities are designed to promote leadership, empowerment, service and STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math). We are well known for selling the “most Girl Scout Cookies in the World” — over 13,000 boxes this year!
Girl Scout Troop 569 is composed of several troops from Daisy to Ambassador in grades K-12.
Daisies (Grades K – 1)
Brownies (Grades 2 – 3)
Juniors (Grades 4 – 5)
Cadettes (Grades 6 – 8)
Seniors (Grades 9 – 10)
Ambassadors (Grades 11 – 12)
The scouting program runs October through June with many troops active during the summer months in various Girl Scout camps offered through the council or simply to remain connected socially throughout the year. We welcome new girls and troops into Troop 569.
